• Tour of alternatives : In the last decade Budapest has become a fantastic field for experimenting new economic production and democratic lifestyles based on sustainability, direct trade, reciprocity economy, conviviality and also creativity, art and well-being. Cargonomia is one of this alternative place. We invite you for a guiding tour of our location and also of our partner places : from community gardens to a DIY bikeshop, from our cargobike center to our local organic products cooperative shop and of course through the famous alternative ruin bars.
• Share our experience : Cargonomia offers different presentations and open discussions about Degrowth, transition, alternative local businesses, democracy, non-violent communication, sustainable agriculture and low-tech solution for transport and energy and also practical workshops for children and teenagers.
• Taste our local products : Cargonomia is distributing locally produced organic vegetables, bread and also biodynamic wines. Meet with our producer partners and taste their healthy and delicious products at the market or at Cargonomia.
• Visit of the Biodynamic Farm in Zsambok : our partners farm is 50 km far from Budapest next to Gödöllö. You will be welcome by experts of biodynamic agriculture who will present their techniques. A traditional Hungarian vegetarian meal will be prepared and offered.
